Daniel Defense Low Profile AR Gas Block

When I started converting my post-ban rifle (thanks President Clinton), to a dedicated 3gun rifle, I quickly ran in to two problems. One, I had a standard carbine gas system with plastic handguards, and two; I had an ugly FSB in the way. Since I wanted free floating handguards, that FSB had to go. After a brief search I finally settled on the Low-Pro gas block from Daniel Defense. It has all the requirements I was looking for in a gas block: Stainless steel construction, fits under my new handguards, and is held in place with screws.
The gas block is made from 4150 hardened steel, and phosphate coated to prevent corrosion. The screws used to attach the gas block are also steel. Yet it weighs less than 2 ounces!
One of the first thing you notice about this gas block is the fit and finish it has. No rough edges on this bad boy, thanks to the precise CNC construction of the gas block. It’s also engineered to fit under the Daniel Defense M4, and Lite AR-15 rails. In my case it fits under a Yankee Hill Free-float tube. It will clamp on to any .750 barrel, and it also covers the ugly scars left form the FSB pins.
I could not be happier with this gas block. It works perfectly, and looks great. I will be using the Daniel Defense gas block in the future on all of my builds.
If you are looking for a low-profile gas block that offers stainless steel construction, CNC construction, and easy installation, then this is the gas block you need.
